Suspect Detect Think IPF

Idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF) is a chronic, progressive form of interstitial lung disease.

Fibrosis of the lung parenchyma reduces lung capacity and is associated with Velcro-like crackling sounds.

Professor Jean-François Cordier, Head of the National Reference Centre for Rare Pulmonary Diseases in Lyon, France, explains more about IPF and how these Velcro-like crackles could allow earlier detection of IPF.
